He was predeceased by: his parents, Alta Spohn (Millious) and Homer Spohn; and his siblings, Tina Smith, Rick (Nancy), Steve and Mike Spohn.
He is survived by: his children, Jaye McGrane (Barney) and John W. "Jack" Spohn; and his grandchildren, August, Tessa Paulson, Charles, Timothy and Zoe McGrane.

A prayer will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). The inurnment will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
