He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Satterlee and Estella Satterlee. He is survived by: his wife Marine Satterlee; and his sons, Wade Satterlee (Deborah) and Brian Satterlee (Linda). He is also survived by his four grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Farkas Funeral Home (3201 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
