He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Franzen (Grissinger); and his parents, Robert Franzen and Elizabeth Franzen (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Sheridan (Thomas) and Robert Franzen (Lesley Gilmore); his grandchildren, Jenine Connolly (Sheridan) and Mathew Sheridan (Morgan); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Dylan and Gavin Connolly.
