He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Arnold; and his children, Samuel F. Arnold Sr. and Janice C. Berg. He is survived by: his children, Charles Arnold (Dora), Betty Ann Swatsworth (Harvey), Brenda Light (Terry), Richard L. Arnold (Tammy), Sarah Halladay (Steven) and Debbie Arnold; his son-in-law Allen Berg; and his close friend Donna Redmon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and spouses along with 30 great grandchildren.
