It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond M. McCabe (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond M. McCabe Sr. and Alma McCabe (Nanni); and also, Bob and Eva Chignoli. He is survived by: his wife Carol McCabe (Chignoli); his children, Raymond R. McCabe, Erin S. Testa (Michael) and Michael M. McCabe; his grandchildren, Michael A. Testa, Matthew R. Testa and Brenna C. Testa; his parent-in-law Lou; and his grandchildren, Jim Chignoli (Mary Jo), Mary Kay Dolak (George), Jack Chignoli (Vicki), Rick Chignoli (Ami), Terri Ambrozich (Joe), Lori Cora (Tim) and Bill Chignoli (Karen).

In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Paul's Parrish or Joliet Catholic Academy would be appreciated.

He was our friend and a kind, honest hard worker. Even after retirement he still came through the drive-thru for his favorite potato soup. We were completely shocked to hear the news of Rays passing.
