He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jerry Mutz, Mary Mutz, Joseph and Lillian Monshau; his father-in-law Daniel Lambert; and his son Martin Velemir.
He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Ogary; his significant other Peggy Lambert Velemir; his children, Amy Mascolino (Chuck), Daniel Monshau and Ariel Olijar (Drew); his significant other's daughter Jessica Velemir Ybarra; his grandchildren, Reagan Casper, Claire, Charlie Mascolino, Andrew Monshau, Payton, Decker Olijar, Giovanni and Kristopher Ybarra; and his sisters, Judy Smith (Alan Malman), Mary Colleen Juricic, Valerie Priest (Tim) and Kristine Ogary.
A reception was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
