He was predeceased by: his parents, Gen W. Roy and Katherine Roy (Yacko). He is survived by: his sisters, Tessie (Pauline Bouchard) of Mendon, MA, Mary (Robert Covert) of Healdsburg, CA, Christine Nearey (Kevin) of Frederick, MD, Nadine (Peg Wieser) of Asheville, NC and Gloria (Will Volny) of Yorkville, IL. He is also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Funeral Home - Yorkville (1617 N Bridge St, Yorkville, IL 60560). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (1S510 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189).
