Michael Anthony Schmitz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Anthony Schmitz of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Schmitz and Patricia Schmitz; his brothers, Tony, Tim and John; his brother-in-law Dennis Murphy; and his niece Sarah Murphy.
He is survived by: his son Jeremy Schmitz; and his siblings, Tom Schmitz, Dennis Schmitz (Diane), Raphael (Mary Schmitz), Patricia Lair (Jeffrey) and Cathy Murphy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (710 W Marion St, Joliet, IL 60436).
