He was predeceased by: his father Jesse John Saenz, Sr.; and his brother Frank Saenz. He is survived by: his mother Irene Saenz; his wife Patricia Saenz; his sons, John "Chango" Douglas Saenz (Cecily) and Michael Jesse Saenz (Aurelisse); his grandchildren, Hailey, Chelsea, Ava, Jesse, Ellie, Johnny Saenz, Jayden, Damian and Skyler Sanchez; and his brother Jesse Jr. Saenz (Joanne). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
