He was predeceased by: his father William J. Nurczyk Jr.; and his grandparents, William "Popeye" and Catherine Nurczyk. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Nurczyk; his children, Megan Grohar (Michael), Andrew Nurczyk (Megan) and Christopher Nurczyk (Alexis); his grandchildren, Paige, Alaina, Sawyer Grohar, Clare and Nolan Nurczyk; his mother Verna Nurczyk; his brother William Nurczyk (Melissa); his godchildren, Laura Nurczyk, Eric Nurczyk (Kate) and Luke Robert Johnson; his mother-in-law Judy Skoff; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle Mullikin (John) and Mike Skoff.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farkas Funeral Home (3201 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St Raymond Nonnatus (604 N Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60431).
