She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Gomez and Maria Del Refugio Gomez; and her sister Luz Gomez. She is survived by: her husband Clemente Delgado Sr.; her children, Clemente Delgado Jr. (Lorena U.), Maria Quinn, Mercedes Ambriz (Juventino), Francisca Delgado and Lorena Chavez (Ruben); her grandchildren, Alysia, Ariel, Alexandra Quinn, Elsa Yesenia, Micaela, Monica, Galilea Delgado, Isabel, Cristian, Yazmine, Evelyn Ambriz, Agustin, Raquel, Alfonso, Rosalia, Damian and Joaquin Chavez; and her brothers, Angel Gomez (Rita), Rafael Gomez (Nina) and Ramon Gomez (Lorenza). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (404 N Hickory St, Joliet, IL 60435).
