She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Link and Sophie Link (Tomac); and her husband Leonard A. Nelson. She is survived by: her daughter Gina Marie; and her son-in-law Donald J. Byers of Joliet.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. Mary Nativity Cemetery (601 Caton Farm Rd, Lockport, IL 60441).
