It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marice (Mendoza) M. Guedea of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Mendoza and Crispin Mendoza; her husband Rodolfo Guedea; and her grandson Kurt Hallin. She is survived by: her daughters, Dolores Stofko (Edward Jr.), Yolanda Sue Guedea (Jerry Parsons), Ana Maria Guedea (Henry Negoda) and Dawn Tichy (Joseph); her grandchildren, Jeremy D. Stofko (Cathleen Anderson), Michael R. Stofko (Elizabeth M. Smith), Justin Stofko, Karl N. Hallin (Shanna), Kirsten A. Gunter (Ben) and Andrew H Negoda; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Isaac Hallin, Keegan and Adelyn Stofko.
