She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Cornejo and Sanjuana Cornejo; and her brother Julio Cornejo. She is survived by: her husband Guillermo Alonzo; her sons, Aaron Alonzo and Adam Alonzo (Sanjuana); and her granddaughters, Cataleia and Metzli. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Delgado Funeral Chapel (400 Landau Ave, Joliet, IL 60432). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (205 E Jackson St, Joliet, IL 60432). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (1320 E Cass St, Joliet, IL 60432).
