He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Salas and Florencia Salas; and his sisters, Elva Salas (Enrique), Delia Salas (Natividad), Esperanza Salas (Jaime) and Yolanda Salas (Antonio).
He is survived by: his wife Alicia Salas; his children, Susana Salas (Hassin Jaber), Manuel Salas Jr. (Teresa), Eliana Salas, Marlene Zarco (Robert), Erika Salas, Ricardo Salas, Jessica Salas, Janet Salas and Adrian Salas; his siblings, Olga Orozco, Pedro Salas, Leticia Salas and Silvia Salas (Cruz Arce); his sisters-in-law, Magdalena Salas (late Everardo) and Ofelia Salas (late Daniel); and his grandchildren, Malaak Jaber, Malik Jaber, Nathaly Salas, Sofia Salas, Manuel Salas III, Michael Macedo, Audrianna Evans, Adyson, Christopher Evans and Celine Tinajero. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Home & Heartland Cremation Services (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446).
