As Lou Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lou Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lou Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kinney and Loretta Kinney; and her brother Raymond C. Kinney. She is survived by: her close friend Cheryl Shaw. She is also survived by several cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to The Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate would be greatly appreciated.
