She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hammons, and Teresa Hammons, Sr.; and her husband Raymond Lee Micou. She is survived by: her children, Michel Myers (Alicia) and Courtney Micou; her stepdaughter DeShandra Dowling (Albert); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Vanessa, Albert, Reece, Jayce and Laila; her siblings, Thomas "Sonny" Hammons II (Beverly), Kevin Hammons, James Patrick Hammons, David Hammons (Angela) and Denise Bacchas (Brent); and her nieces and nephews, Andrea Owens (Lawrence), Jasmine, Danielle, Todd Dehaas (Mandi), James Hammons Jr. (Esperanza) and Thomas Hammons III (Emma).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
