She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Fowlkes Sr. and Rosie Lee Fowlkes (Short); and her sister Jo Ann Franklin. She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Cooper (Amethyst) of Joliet, IL, Eric Cooper of Greenville, SC and Warren Cooper of Joliet, IL; her siblings, Gina Wood (Nathan) of Knoxville, TN, Aniesha Williams (Terrell) of Sikeston, MO, Gary Fowlkes (Patty) of Saginaw, MI, Larry Fowlkes of Osceola, AR, John Fowlkes Jr. of Sikeston, MO and Darrin Fowlkes (Pam) of Blytheville, AR; and her great-nephew Trevion Franklin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sonntag Funeral Home (1500 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
