Klint L. DeGeus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Klint L. DeGeus (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Klint had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Klint may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his son David C. DeGeus; his parents, Lester DeGeus and Ethel DeGeus; and his in-laws, Raymond and Ruth Kirn.
He is survived by: his wife Kay E. DeGeus. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). The lying in state was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (805 Western Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Services of New Lenox or Family Initiative of Cape Coral, FL will be appreciated.
