He is survived by: his wife Concepcion Macias; his children, Gloria Perez (Salomon), Adriana Perez (Jorge), Manuel Lara (Aurora), Hector Lara, Ezequiel Lara (Teresa) and Carmen Perez; his grandchildren, Jose Luis Morales III, Carlos Alberto Morales (Maricela), Gloria Elena Armstrong (Antonio), Maria Elena Morales (Shawn), Alejandro Davalos (Maricela), Angel Lebron, Manuel Jr. Lara (Denise), Amanda Ceja (David), Armando Lara, Hector Anthony Lara (Marisol), Vanessa Lara, Jessica Hurtado, Ezequiel Lara II, Nicholas, Sonia and Selina Perez; and his great grandchildren, Jose Luis IV, Jerado Morales, Carlos Jr., Emilia, Anthony, Giselle, Damian Morales, Pedro Jesus Uriostegui, Gloria Ashanti Armstrong, Shawn, Sofia Anderson, Julian, Giovanni, Lorenzo Davalos, Manuel III, Mateo, Gabriella Lara, Christopher Ceja, Ariana Lara and Alejandro Arana.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (205 E Jackson St, Joliet, IL 60432). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the St Joseph Cemetery (1500 N Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (1500 N Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
