With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John P. Milavec (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Geraldine "Jeri" Milavec; and his parents, John Milavec and Rose C. Milavec. He is survived by: his children, Diane Hill and John A. Milavec (Julie); his grandchildren, Michael Bozman, John James Milavec (Juliet), Richard Hill, III, Rachel Elsner (Dominick) and Luke Milavec; and his brothers, Richard Milavec (Annie) and Lawrence Milavec.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate John's life at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Monday, January 6, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorials to Lightways Hospice will be appreciated.
