She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Eldridge; her parents, Dewey Umbarger and Mary Umbarger (Nee Kern); and her siblings, Charles, Gary Umbarger, Kathy Umbarger and Virginia Colvard.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Scherer (Ralph) of Joliet and Gary W. Eldridge Jr. (Pam Lhotka) of Steger, IL; her grandchildren, Joseph Scherer (Karen), Matthew Scherer (Kaydie Kasper), Mikayla, Alexis and Elizabeth Eldridge; her great grandchildren, Sofie, Benjamin, Emily Scherer, Jordan McGowan, Julian Eldridge and Lawrence Hoyle; and her cousin Marie Joseph of Ft. Meyers, FL..
