He is survived by: his wife Debra Banks; his children, Dixie Meeks, Sonya Clark (John), Dawn Willis (Tauna), Jamie Banks (Jeremy), Jennifer Hahr (Lance) and James Banks III (Trestiese); his sisters, Mary Grant, Iris Jones (Donald) and Michele Richards (Michael); and his grandchildren, Dae'von, Kyla, Marshon Jr., Nathan, Laila, Brandon, Abiona, DeAnna and Ke'ziiyah. He is also survived by other grandchild on the way, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Banquet Hall (1100 NE Frontage Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
