He was predeceased by: his daughter Vicki Harmon; his parents, Russell J. Harmon and Evelyn M. Harmon; and his siblings, Doris Mauseth, Wilma Maben, William "Bud" Harmon and Francis Harmon.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Harmon of Joliet; his daughter Kelli Harmon of Arkansas; his stepsons, Michael Fitzgerald (Mariclair) of Tinley Park, Craig Fitzgerald (Paula) of Portland and Todd Fitzgerald (Becca) of LaGrange Highlands; and his grandchildren, Connor Fitzgerald, Marah Fitzgerald, Tegan Fitzgerald, Luke Fitzgerald, Nora Fitzgerald, Aileen Fitzgerald, Claire Fitzgerald, Noah Fitzgerald, Nathan Fitzgerald and Benjamin Fitzgerald.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated.
