She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence A. Hlavka; her brothers, Charles V. Kessler, Jr. and Robert Kessler (Kathy); and her parents, Charles V. Kessler and Jewel M. Kessler.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hlavka (Sally) and Ann Smith (Daniel); her grandchildren, Danny Smith (Savannah), Sean Smith (Breanna), Shane Smith (Nicole), Billy Hlavka, Stephanie Hlavka, Doug Hlavka and Gracie Smith; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Lily, Owen, Oliver and Jackson Smith. She is also survived by her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials to Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago will be appreciated.
