He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, George Petecki III and Jackson Chance; his parents, George Sr. Petecki and Sharyn Petecki; his brothers, Gregory Petecki and Eric Petecki (Victoria); his nieces, Evelyn and Lillian; and his nephew Stanley Petecki.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Mother of Good Counsel Church (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491).
