While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Yackley and Alvina B. Yackley; and his brother Tom Yackley. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Larson; his children, Larry Yackley (Luann), Suzanne Florek, Steve Yackley (Elaine), John Yackley (Diane) and Bob Yackley (Kim); his caregivers, Brianna Quintero, Sendy Jimenez and Flor Ugalde Ruiz; and also Sue Sorg. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435).
