She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Huerta and Lucia Huerta. She is survived by: her husband Justino Hernandez; her sons, Juan Hernandez, Mike Hernandez (Susan), Carlos Hernandez (Debbie), Jose Hernandez (Laura), Raul "Rick" Hernandez and Tony Hernandez (Michelle); her brother Vicente Nava (late Timotea); her grandchildren, Keith, Kim Fischer (Greg), Phillip (Rachel), Michael (Ana), Lisa, Jessica and Felicia Navarro (Ramon); and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Elena, Laura, Ana, Isabelle, Matthew, Amina and Daniel.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tezak's Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
