Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Harmon and Joanne E. Harmon-Davis (Northrup); and his sister Valorie Bryant (Phillip). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Harmon (Frankovich); his children, Alana and Austin Harmon; and his brother Steve Harmon (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Organization for Autism Research or the Autism Society of Illinois to honor his son Austin, would be greatly appreciated.
