He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Benjamin Burton and Lottie Wee Burton; his siblings, Claude Burton (Betty) and Joyce Holmes Burton; and his nephew Myran Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Burton; his children, Dion Burton, Darell Burton (Lisa) and Donna Burton; his grandson Dalen; his great grandchild Ezra; his siblings-in-law, Harvey Bennett (Myrdes), Virgie April and Zola Hamilton (late Clifford); and his cousin Carlton Bates (Leon Thompson). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and cousins in-law and friends.
