It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores M. Valek (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Sr. Baudino and Helen Baudino; and her brother Anthony Baudino Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Tony Valek; her brother Donald R. Baudino (Judy) of Wilmington; her niece Ann Olszta (Michael) of Minooka; her nephew Nicholas Baudino of Wilmington; and her great-nephews, Anthony, Alexander Baudino of Diamond, Nicholas and Lucas Olszta of Minooka. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society, in Dolores' name, would be greatly appreciated.
