Though Christine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cremer Lunningham and Ludie Lunningham; and her siblings, Anne Parker, Dorothy Lunningham, Signola Drane, Linwood Lunningham and Thomas Christopher Lunningham.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Lunningham of Chantilly; and her siblings, Ludie Jean Williams (Bennie) of Austin and James Lunningham of Joliet, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown Chapel A. M. E. Church (1502 Mills Rd, Joliet, IL 60433). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Mount Vernon Memorial (11875 Archer Ave, Lemont, IL 60439).
