It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecelia Mary Veihl of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Corlie M. Lake and Margaret Lake; her husband Robert G. Veihl; her son Robert Glenn Veihl, Jr.; and her siblings, Carol McKanna, Lillian Shawmeker, Frances Butler, Corlie "Pee Wee", George, Ed, Jack, James and Arthur Lake.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Lee Schiek (Kevin); her granddaughter Heather Marie Anderson (Edward); her great grandchildren, Logan and Sophia Anderson; and her sister-in-law Judith Lake. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
