He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Lynch and Ann Lynch (Zamkovitz). He is survived by: his mother-in-law Marilyn Thorne; his uncle Boris Zamkovitz; his sister-in-law Lynn Thorne; his wife Lorna Lynch (Thorne); his children, Amy Bab (Kevin), Matthew Lynch (Melissa) and Christina Lynch; his grandchildren, Colin, Gracie Bab, Charlee and Chase Lynch; his father-in-law Darold Thorne; his siblings, Priscilla Lynch, Lorin Lynch (Lynne) and Blake Lynch (Sharon); and his brothers-in-law, Gary Thorne and James Thorne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
