Angelina G. Nino Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Angelina G. Nino of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felipe J. Gutierrez and Casimira Gutierrez (Lopez); and her siblings, Anna M. Barajas, Olvido L. Gutierrez, Felipe L. Gutierrez Jr. and Adrian L. Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her husband Juan A. Niño; her children, Juan M. Niño (Tracci), Margarita "Maggie" Niño (Ivan) and Miguel F. Niño; her grandchildren, Karissa, Kaine, Alexis, Santos and Angelo; her great grandchildren, Avianna, Ariyah, Saint, Syer, Coi, Thorin, Remi, Nova and Aurora; and her siblings, Alicia Zartuche, Adalia G. Hensley, Amparo L. Palade, Amelia Bergfeld (Robert), Hena G. Cotton, Elida G. Lerma (Ernie), Salvador Gutierrez (Aida) and Alejandro Gutierrez (Gerlinde).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
