It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew W. Verchimak (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andrew W. Verchimak to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Verchimak, and Betty Verchimak, Jr.; his former wife Linda L. Taylor; his sister Diane DeSalvo; and his brother-in-law Paul Mott.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew D. Verchimak (Julie) and Emily Hurd (David); his grandchildren, Aerron Blackmon and Rebecca Verchimak; and his siblings, Jeffrey Verchimak and Maryjo Mott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lightways Hospice will be appreciated.
