With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Howerton of Johnston City, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Dare and Bessie Dare (Vick); her son Chad Howerton; her brother Bennie Dare; and her brother-in-law Louie Caron.
She is survived by: her sister Linda Caron of Gas City, IN; and her cousin Brenda Litton (Ron) of Johnston City. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
