He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavern Spiller and Norma Spiller (Ray); his wife Rhonda Spiller (Lind); and his granddaughter Jaqueline Spiller. He is survived by: his children, Roy Richard "Rick" Spiller Jr. (Karen) of Johnston City, Susan Renee Spiller-Romani of Benton and Nicholas Wayne Spiller of Pflugerville, TX; his grandchildren, Matias Gage Romani of Benton, Tyler Short (Hannah Little) of Johnston City and Raven Carter of Johnston City; and his siblings, Dwight Spiller (Frannie) of Johnston City, George Spiller of Johnston City, Jim Spiller (Dorothy) of Johnston City and Ella Ruth McKinney (Don) of Johnston City. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
