It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renee Hayes of Johnston City, Illinois, born in Crainville, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Billie Lee Norris and Susan Felty (Adams); her husband Jimmie Eugene Hayes; her brother Billie Blackmoore Norris; her granddaughter Jaqueline Nicole Spiller; and her son-in-law Tommy Stritzel.

She is survived by: her former husband Jimmy Eugene Hayes; her children, Rick Spiller (Karen) of Johnston City, Susan Spiller-Romani of Benton and Jerri Stritzel of Johnston City; her grandchildren, Tyler Short (Hanna Little), Raven Carter, Matias Gage Romani, Courtney Stritzel, Gavin Stritzel and Mya Debow; her great grandchildren, Cassandra, Chloe, Carly, London Strom, Liam Hirsch, Austin Short and Niko Sky Stritzel; her sisters, Amy Hollandcamp (Todd) of Woodlawn and Kelley Shega (Bill) of Woodlawn; and her nephew Jeremy Norris.
