We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 89, Ovidio Robert Neira Jr. of Johnston City, Illinois, born in Endicott, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovidio Neira and Emily Neira (Rotunno); his brother Roland Neira; and his siblings-in-law, Ben DiLorenzo Sr. and Mary Ann Neira.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sheril Terboss of Kirkwood, NY and Terri Hayes (Kenneth) of Windsor, NY; his fiancée Patti Morgan of Johnston City, IL; his grandsons, Adam Terboss and Kenneth Lee Hayes, Jr. (Tara Scales); his stepchildren, Sylgrida Douberly (David) of St. George, UT and Tyler Morgan (Heather) of Johnston City, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Elijah, Cole, Madison, Jackson Douberly, Aubrey and Kinley Morgan; his sister Barb DiLorenzo; and his close friend Cera. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Corp League/Auxiliary Lois Olsen Lemke memorial fund. Checks may be made to Department of Illinois MCLA, 4530 West Marquette Rd., Chicago, IL 60629-5627.

“I remember Bob as one of my best friends all through jr. high and high school. He ran like the wind and always had a smile on his face. We had great times in West Endicott as kids and I remember hanging out at his dad's store. I didn't see much of him later in life as we moved to Canada, but I remember how proud and happy he was when he became a nurse. Barbara, my wife and I send our sympathies and wish you the best.
