He was predeceased by: his father Nolan Reed (Williams); his son Ronald Gene "Red" Reed; his great great grandchild Kamden Feezor; his siblings, Paul, Ricky Robertson and Donna Sue Bearden; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Robertson, Verna Robertson, Cindy Robertson, Pat Robertson, Sharon Hock and Donald Kinley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Reed of Johnston City; his children, Donnie Reed (Brandie) of Johnston City, Kathy Long of Johnston City, Tammy Hanley (Lynn) of Marion and John Reed of Johnston City; his daughter-in-law Nicole Reed; his grandchildren, Josh Reed, Jacob Reed, Jonathan Castillo, Spencer Joe Reed, Shonda Hoyle (Gene Torres), Brieanna Hoyle, Shaun Hanley (Brenda), Jennifer Hertich (Michael), Julie Neal (Joel), John Sullivan, Bradyn Reed, Bryson Reed and Piper Reed; his siblings, Ronnie Robertson of Herrin, Henry Robertson of Johnston City, Jack Robertson of West Frankfort, Darlene Kinley of Johnston City and Deon Reed; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Kiesling (Mike) of Carterville, Mike Sparks of Energy and David Hock of Herrin. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
