Merilee Anne Anderson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 84, Merilee Anne Anderson of Johnston City, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Saxe and Susie Saxe (Harris); her husband Carl Lindell Anderson; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Trout and Susan Saxe; and her brother David Saxe.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Anderson (Karen) of Johnston City and Tricia Seely (Mark) of Union, MO; her grandchildren, Brett Anderson (Lauren) of Marion, Grant Anderson (Savannah) of Johnston City, Taylor of Union, MO and Matthew Seely of Union, MO; her great grandchildren, Ava Jo Anderson, Chase Anderson and Case Anderson; her siblings, Tom Saxe of Thompsonville, Larry Saxe (Sharon) of Morrisonville and Elaine Hayden (Norman) of Cape Girardeau, MO; and her brother-in-law Larry Trout of Johnston City.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
