Mark L. Hoffard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark L. Hoffard of Johnston City, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Seamer Hoffard and Eula Hoffard (Chapman); and his siblings, Violet, Elsie, Robert, Vincent, Gene and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred L. Hoffard; his children, Jeff Hoffard (Marilyn) and LeAnn Hall (Rick); his grandchildren, Adam, Holly of Scott, RJ, Shaina, Dakota, Hope and Colt; his great grandchildren, Mason, Caiden, Ariona, Madelyn, Kennedy, Phineas, Adrianna and Theodore; his niece Ramona Hoffard Holland; and his friend Jeff Richey. He is also survived by several nephews, other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church (13339 IL-37, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to either or both: "Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church Education Fund" and/or "The Johnston City Manna Mission.".
