He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Scro and Hila Scro (Pogue); his brother Richard Schwantz; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Lynn Scro and Guy Lewis Ingram.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" Rodrigo; his sons, Mark David Scro II (Megan) of Johnston City and Adam James Scro of Johnston City; his grandchildren, Collin Anthony Smith and Eiyla Ann Scro; his siblings, Nick Scro, Chuck Scro and Georgette Ingram; and his pets, Mack and Jazz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
