He was predeceased by: his mother Lori Jackson (Feazel); and his sister Mary Elizabeth Valez. He is survived by: his father John Meres Barrera Sr. of Johnston City; his stepfather Jim Jackson of Johnston City; and his brothers, Andy Acuna of Johnston City and Caleb Stroud of Johnston City.
