He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benjamin and Zella Belle Morgan (Ferguson); and his siblings, William "Greasy" Carl Morgan, Donald Lloyd Morgan, Lester Dwight Morgan, Floyd Morgan and Dorothy Queen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Coonce); his children, John Barnes (Greenville), Sylgrida Douberley (David) of St. George, UT and Tyler Morgan (Heather) of Johnston City; his stepson David Chwarczinski of Christopher; his sister Bonnie Morgan of DuQuoin; and his nieces, Karla Morgan of Murphysboro, Zella Jean Morgan of DuQuoin, Roberta Ringstaff of Kevil, KY, Cindy Morgan of Ledbetter, KY and Donna Wynn of Ledbetter, KY. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
