With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Leon Long (Johnston City, Illinois), born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on July 20, 2021 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jimmie Leon Long to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Leon and Marcella June Long (Berry); his wife Linda Long; his parents-in-law, Rev. Tony and Pauline Jayne; and his granddaughter Ellen Lampley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debi Kramm (Terry) of Alma, AR., Angela Lampley (Randal) of Johnston City and Kendra Marrs (Shawn) of Johnston City; his grandchildren, Mathew Kramm (Laura), Rachel Cherry (Lyle), Joel Marrs, Jacob Marrs (Karibou) and Alexander Lampley; his great grandchildren, Alex Miller, Loralei Kramm and Layla Kramm; and his sister Marsha Evans (Max) of Johnston City. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
