It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie German Sr. (Johnston City, Illinois), born in Wellborn, Texas, who passed away on May 16, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher and Martha Ella German, Sr. (Warren); his son Jessie German, Jr; and his siblings, Fetcher German, Jr, Gladys Koreth and Marylois Huckabee.

He is survived by: his wife Florence Louise Lasley; his children, Russell E. Odum (Nancy) of Bluford, Caron Harris (Scottie) of West Frankfort, Catherine Mosley (Gary) of Bryan, TX, Dennis Odum (Ruby) of Benton and Lloyd German (Maureen) of Akin; and his sisters, Catherine Holligan of Bryan, TX and Gaynell Boyd of Sommerville, TX.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
