It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Hancock of Johnston City, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hancock and Gladys Hancock (Aden); his wife Darlene Cowles; and his siblings, Ray, Mary, Simon, Rae Anne and John.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Hancock (Marla) of Johnston City, Tim Hancock of Johnston City, Cindy Harper (Randy) of Johnston City and Scott Hancock of West Frankfort; his brother Mike Hancock (Bonita) of Villa Ridge, Illinois; his grandchildren, Justin Hancock (Dawn), Jeremy Ridings (Heather), Nolan Hancock (Sabrina) and Jessi Hancock; and his great grandchildren, Karah Hancock, Logan Ridings, Braden McGee, Landrie Hancock, Katelyn Ridings, Jillian Ridings, Cohen Reeder, River Reeder, Eden Hancock and Juniper Hancock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Creek Masonic Lodge #729 Scholarship Fund.
