It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene R. Pesselato of Johnston City, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard Pesselato and Pam Baur; and his brother-in-law Lewie Miles. He is survived by: his wife Julia Pesselato of Johnston City; his daughter Debra Van Valkenburg of Marion; his grandson Jordan Van Valkenburg of Colorado; his siblings, Lynda Stotlar of St. Louis, Ray Pesselato (Carol) of St. Louis and Kathleen Helms of Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Miles of Johnston City and John Baur of St. Louis, Missouri.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
